Spirit of SnowdonOccasionally the elements combine just as it it hoped they will on the walk to a location. This is one of those moments, as in a wonderfully calm and peaceful setting on the shores of Llyn Llydaw, the rising sun bathes Snowdon in an almost luminous red, and the scene is completed by the reflection. Even the memory of it sends a shiver down the spine. |

Sunlit MistsTwo things caught my eye on this morning. The swirling mists over the south and western shores of Llyn Gwynant and the colour of grasses. With very little light, it was a bonus when the sun lifted the scene for even the briefest moment. |

CopperWith the low water level in Llyn Llydaw, I found the rocks to use as foreground. The combination of colours in the rock, the hillside brought about by the rising sun, and the remains of the crushing mill from the copper mine made naming this image simple. |
