Iced

High wind and freezing temperatures have caused water, blown from the surface of Llyn Cwmystradllyn, to freeze on the grass and sedges on the shore, before freezing itself. Being close to the sea, the valley snow has melted but Moel Ddu, (Black Mount), defies its name and remains snowcapped.

Last of the Autumn Sun, Llyn Tecwyn Isaf / Olaf o haill yr Hydref, Llyn Tecwyn Isaf

After an overcast day, the clouds began to break just before sunset. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the last of the light captured the trees, highlighting the autumn tones. The hint of colour in the clouds and perfectly calm surface of the lake adds to a beautiful scene.
Ar ol diwrnod cymylog, dechreuodd y cymlau wasgaru cyn machlyd haul. Fel i'r haul ddisgyn o dan y gorwel, daliwyd yr olaf o'i olau rhwng y coed gan amlinellu naws yr hydref. Gyda lliw ysgafn y cymylau a llonyddwch perffaith a'r wyneb y llyn fe ychwanegodd hyn at brydferthwch yr olygfa.
