Fleeting LightOn a stiff breeze, fast moving clouds cast their shadows over the landscape, creating an ever changing scene. Llyn Cwm Silyn. |

CrumbledMosses cover the surface whilst grass and even Bluebells invade the crevices in this crumled old wall. |
On the WindClouds race across the sky and the surface waters of Llyn Idwal are lifted in the hligh winds of early May. |

ImpressionistI don't often spot the potential in the landscape for abstract images, but on this occasion the combination of light on, and behind the trees, with rippled water came together to give the impression of a Monet painting. |
Crossed FootpathTwo logs form a cross on this footpath through Aberdunant, and the Bluebells, at these lower levels, are now in full bloom. |

Simply SpringThe hillside display of Bluebells is often shortlived for reasons which escape me! |
Evening CalmTotal calm on this spring evening at Llanbedrog |

Dwyfor BluebellsThe end of this years mini project to photograph the spring flowers by the Dwyfor river. The only disappointment was the poor display of Daffodils, but now the Bluebells are out in force creating their own wonderful display and scent. |
Cnicht in SpringBluebells flank Cwm Croesor as the sun highlights Cnicht. |

How Green is my ValleyA beautiful late spring day, with Bluebells sitting closely to the slopes of Mynydd Dol-Ffanog and overlooking Tal-y-Llyn. |
Distant ShowerAs rain sweeps across Y Lliwedd the Bluebells of the Aberglaslyn Pass remain in the sun. |

Down the AberglaslynSitting above Beddgelert and the Rhodedendron, on a beautiful early summers day. |
Looking for the SummerVery low water levels due to the dry spring reveal rocks on the shore of Llyn Cwmystraddllyn, but take nothing from the emerald and blue tones of this summer afternoon. |

Blue BoatSitting close to the edge of Llyn Nantlle, this boat rests as the meadowsweet, buttercups and grasses of a summer meadow grow around it. |
Catching the LightOn my journey towards Llyn Cwellyn, it was obvious that the sunset I was hoping for was not going to materialise as the clouds disipated and left a clear sky. However, the evening was not wasted as the resultant stronger light illuminated the rocks and cliff faces very nicely. |

Blooming LovelyClimbing through the Rhodedendrons above Beddgelert is heavy work but very rewarding. The spread of bushes is said to be causing problems and they are being removed over the course of the next few years. Personnally I will miss the colourful display. |
Aberglaslyn GoldThe colour of daybreak reflects in the calm waters of Afon Glaslyn. |

No RushIt does not take long for the water from recent rains to run from the rocky ground of the Glyder, so despite only being dry for a few days, the Afon Gwryd is rather tame. |
Sunshine and ShowersA break in the clouds gives relief to the landscape and highlights the rain falling over Llyn Tegid. |

Sole SurvivorThe numerous trunks of this Holly give no indication that they all come from the same root stock sitting in a crevice in these rock formations on the Rhinog. |
